RISD AND STORYHAT CREATE RI ANIMATION HUB
Center for Design and Business Executive Director Bill Foulkes announced that The Story Hat, LLC has joined forces with film director Michael Corrente and his company Eagle Beach Productions, Inc. to make feature film history with "Bloodlines", the first American made, feature length, animated CGI horror/thriller.
Scheduled for fall '09 completion, the animated movie "Bloodlines" follows a group of troubled teens into an urban, creepy, voodoo-steeped adventure where the tatoos they get bring out powerful and terrifying supernatural forces. Creasted by The Story Hat and co-produced with Eagle Beach Productions, this revolutionary animated project is being produced with creative contributions from selected students and faculty members at RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) and will be directed by Story Hat C.C.O. Rob Travalino, C.E.O. Kevin Mowrer and Michael Corrente. The project is being funded through Eagle Beach Productions and private equity.
