With recent funding from the a RISD faculty development grant augmented by funding from  the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, RISD Interior Architecture Professor Peter Yeadon and his partner Martina Decker of Decker + Yeadon identified a prototyping partner in Tawain. The concept is in the patent protection process. 

Future Concept Designs noted in a recent issue of PC Magazine include work by RISD student Shawn Modi and the RISD-MIT studio. The concept shown is the result of a collaborative effort by Nokia, the Rhode Island School of Design, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Helsinki University of Technology.
